I found Creative Resume and Amy through a recommendation of a friend and co-worker. Amy did a great job on my resume. Very professional and help with the ability to get my resume noticed. I have had my new resume for 2 weeks now, and i have gotten 2 interviews already. I am very happy with the service and professionalism of Amy.
I hired Amy Cheek at Creative Resume Inc. to write a cover letter, resume and create a LinkedIn profile. I paid her $442.89 upfront for the package deal. I was NOT HAPPY with the cover letter or the resume that Amy wrote.
The appearance of both documents looked "cheap and cookie cutter" and did NOT present as "professional". The resume and cover letter were both poorly written and not well planned or executed. Amy offers edits within 30 days. However, there were so many problems with the resume and cover letter and things that needed to be fixed, I decided there was no point in trying to fix what was already broken. I simply realized that I hired the wrong person.
With that being said, I did further research in an attempt to find a better company. I found Resume Phenom, LLC and made contact right away. He was on vacation for a week. Since time was of the essence I did further research and found Top Resume Experts in Charlotte, NC. I hired them to write a cover letter, resume and create a LinkedIn profile. I paid them a little more ($475.12) than Creative Resume, Inc. but got a much better product! Some that I was happy with and could feel confident submitted to a potential employer and or recruiter.
I am writing this review to help others, so you do not end up wasting your precious time or money hiring the wrong company/person like I did! Don't be fooled by her nice website!!
After searching for months for a job I felt like I hit a roadblock until I found Creative Resumes. They really helped change the trajectory of my life. From helping me build my resume to interview preparation. With their help, I was able to land a job in my dream industry (Digital Marketing) in 3 weeks. The staff was very compassionate and went above and beyond to ensure that I got the results that I wanted.
